Hammer crusher

Working principle

Feeding: Materials enter the interior of the crusher through the feeding port. The size of the feeding port is usually matched with the specifications and output requirements of the crusher.

High-speed rotation: The rotor inside the crusher rotates at high speed, and there are multiple hammer heads on the rotor. Due to the high-speed rotation, these hammer heads have a relatively large linear velocity.

Impact crushing: After the materials enter the crusher, they are crushed by the impact of the high-speed rotating hammer heads. Impact force is the main force for crushing and can effectively break down materials.

Grinding effect: Besides impact crushing, the material inside the crusher is also subjected to grinding effect. This is because during the crushing process, the material will rub and collide with the inner wall of the casing, the screen plate and the hammer heads on the rotor.

Particle size screening: The crushed materials pass through the sieve plate, which has sieve holes of a certain size. Materials larger than the sieve holes will remain on the sieve plate for further crushing, while those smaller than the sieve holes will be discharged through the sieve plate and become finished products.

Discharge: Finished materials are discharged from the discharge port. The size of the discharge port can be adjusted to control the size of the finished materials. Unqualified large particle materials may be re-fed into the crusher for re-crushing.
